Kombucha is a sparkling sweet tea that has been fermented with good bacteria and yeast. Fruit juice, spices and herbs can be added to enhance the flavor and health benefits.
Kombucha helps balance and replenish our gut fauna. A healthy gut improves digestion, increases immunity, and dare I say, improves your mood. Kombucha also contains organic acids, vitamins, antioxidants and polyphenols that are beneficial to our health.
Kombucha is a healthy beverage that you consume like any other healthy food. There is no required daily amount that we associate with medication or vitamins. Drink as much as your body tells you. If you’re new to the wonderful flavors of kombucha, then take it easy until your body adjusts to the probiotics.
Yes. Our kombucha is a living product that has not been pasteurized.
Our kombucha does contain trace amounts of ethanol as a byproduct of the fermentation process but does not exceed the legal limit of 0.50 % ABV. Each recipe is laboratory tested and approved by the Maryland Department of Health.
Yes. You can come by for a tasting and purchase our kombucha in 16-ounce cups, 32-ounce bottles and 64-ounce growlers. Please call ahead, however, to make sure we’re available. We are a small local business on a beautiful farm with few hands and a lot of kombucha to brew, bottle, keg and deliver to our customers.
You can open our bottle of kombucha and enjoy the flavors for a good week before the carbonation is gone and the flavor starts to subside. Unopened bottles will have an expiration date on the lid, unless you purchased the bottle from your local farmers market.
We don’t have an official mascot, but the cows are omnipresent. We also have sheep on the farm, but despite their cuteness, they are also daft, which leaves them out of contention.
